Day 1- Not Over Yet

Breakfast was eggs and an apple for A, a full fruit smoothie with strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, and a banana (no yogurt or milk) for E and me.

 LOL It is lunch time and already my youngest wants to break it! She is so distraught to not have her all natural hotdogs or chicken sausages. And even though it is 'clean' it is still highly processed meats. Sorry, babe!

Lunch melt down avoided. E and I had some homemade chili with real tomatoes, colorful peppers and organic beef. Then a couple apple slices with all natural, nothing added peanut butter and raisins. A. went for fresh tuna and a salad with all natural balsamic vinaigrette.

Dinner will be roasted asparagus, garlic Italian chicken breasts, and maybe some roasted potatoes. We use olive oil, with a little salt and pepper and put them in the convection oven. They are so yummy!!

So far so good. Will have to pick up a few things at the store tonight or tomorrow. I am looking forward to the rest of the month. ;)

Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
    God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
    he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Come and see what the Lord has done,
    the desolations he has brought on the earth.
He makes wars cease
    to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shieldswith fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.
